>That's about all the French I know. Have fun!!!!LOL!
I took 3 years of French in high school (but what a long time ago *that* was!!) and when we were in France last summer, I remembered bits and pieces of it, but it was really not even enough to get by. Good thing that Gary's French was much better than mine. He speaks it pretty good, but he was unhappy with his listening abilities ... once a French person hears him speak, they assume he speaks it fairly fluently and they will reply in rapid-fire French and he gets lost. So, he's really the one who wanted to do the French school thing. I figured, what the heck ... I could stand to learn the language a little bit better too ... at least to the point where I'll not feel uncomfortable attempting to speak it. So he didn't have to twist my arm too much to get me to go back!! <g>
