the app is being written with vfp8 front and back but it is stand alone on the pc, it will not link to the linux network. they have other application on their linux network that they also need to use on the pc and they asked me if i knew of anything that would allow that to do that. i found http://www.cygwin.com/ but was wondering if there were any more.
