yeap,
1526 Connectivity error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Arithmetic overflow error converting numeric to data type numeric.
this is the sql line that I had sent at the time. modified to fit in this box < g >
Insert into dirdesc values ('6031.039001 6031.001 1 ', '6031.001 ', '6031.039001 ', 1.00, 1.00,
   ' ', ' ', -102365.00, '10 AVE NW & 33 ST NW ',
   27.00, 'MT-UF---------00', '6031.039001 6031.001 1 27 ', 24209.00, 24210.00, 0.00, 0.00,
  '6031.039001 6031.001 1 27 2 ', '6031.001 27 ', ' ')
I added hard returns after the data seperator(,) to hopefully make it more readable

Thanks.

>>okay, that is not the problem. I thought maybe the negative number (i.e. -123320.00) may be the problem. My error does not specify which numeric field, just that it had problems, so the record did not get inserted into the table.
