>>Hi John,
>>It kinda sounds like the label page length is somehow set at or slightly longer than the printer's actual page length so that the printer is automatically executing a form feed at the bottom of the page. Meanwhile, Fox is generating its own form feed at the bottom of the page giving the blank page of labels.

We began working with different combinations (using report command instead of label, hacking the lbx file etc) nothin has worked, but we have managed to get it to print all the labels but it now skips 11 between each set. I may have to resort to the page exactly the size of a label. Once again, thanks for your assistance.

>Thanks for your response. The page setup does have the whole page selection checked. The printer is a standard Epson 9 pin (not sure of the model). Your theory is pretty much what I have told the client, but I still haven't been able to come up with a fix. There is no way to set the Page length in the label page setup.

Hi,

You could check the default page length setting in Windows, and the settings in VFP when you choose Page Setup from the menu bar.

I think that on startup VFP copies all printer settings from the Windows defaults to it's own settings. When there are other settings in the page setup of the report or label, it takes those settings for the report being printed. Maybe for labels, the page length isn't specified in the label's definition, so that VFP takes the default settings.

If this is the cause, you must change Window's default page length for that printer.

By the way, is all well in a preview ?
