Actually Gregory, that's what Gary has been doing for some time now (he just orders stuff from Amazon.fr or whatever it is) ... I've been meaning to read some of his books, but never seem to get around to it. It's mostly easy stuff, children's books really ... Le Petit Prince, Le Petit Nicholas, another one about a detective (can't remember the name) and of course, the really funny Asterix books.

When we were in France last year, and we'd go for our morning coffee and croissant, we'd each get a newspaper ... he'd get a French one and I'd get an English one. So, you can see which one of us is more into it!!! <g>

Things that are of some interest to you. eg buy some books of Harold Robbins in French. And if possible, the ones that you have read in English. Read a couple of pages every night. If there's something you do not understand, read on. You'll understand it a couple of days later
