After my ' REPORT FORM (Directory1+'LiCustLi.FRX') NOCONSOLE TO
PRINTER PROMPT ' line, in printer dialogue, number of copies is dimmed. Printer is Local printer.
All others thing are okey. (I have FPW2.6 with WIN95)

I am trying 3 different printer driver (HP 500, EpsonLQ-1170 ESC/2,Generic) but
no any thing changed. Dimmed properties is seems roboust.
I am try above 3 driver with excel 7.0 . Number of copies not dimmed in
3 driver.

for what number of copies dimmed?

Hi there,

I don't think the generic/text driver supports "number of copies",
because this is generally something Windows sends as a printer
instruction using the abilities of the printer to support it.

Try it with a different driver, and see if this option un-dims -- in
which case I'm right about the cause <s>.

In that case, you have two choices:

1) Use a PRINTJOB/ENDPRINTJOB loop around your REPORT FORM command
with a _PCOPIES assignment within the loop, which effectively runs the
REPORT FORM multiple times.

2) If your printer does support a command for multiple copies, you can
add this information into your driver properties. Add the appropriate
printer command string to the DeviceOptions page.
