Hi Cetin
I remember you're an AMD freak like me :-)
Depending on your motherboard, you're in for a nice run though! For instance, in one board ( DFI Lanparty SLI DR-Expert ) i have one page with maybe at least 30 ( yes, read thirty ) settings *only for the RAM*...In general, all nForce4 motherboards are overloaded with great features as well as overclocking settings, hence the complicated settings in BIOS...

>I don't remember such a switch either and never had problems with 7 or 9 (never installed 8 on this one). Anyway it looks like I'll check BIOS at next boot - curiosity:)

>>Hey John
>>Well i've been using only AMD 64-bit based computers exclusively for the last years ( except for my tablet-pc ), and i don't have any problem running VFP7 ( i don't use vfp8 because it's not usable RTLwise ).
>>Also, you have a gazillion settings available in today's AMD based boards, but i don't recall seeing a NW switch anywhere...

>>>Be aware, though, that on AMD 64-bit machines there is an NX switch (I think it's in BIOS, it's been a while) that should be set off if running VFP8 or earlier. I *think* that Calvin resolved this for VFP9 but I can't be certain. If you research some of my 2004 (2003?) blog entries on the VSData blog at
http://blogs.msdn.com\vsdata you'll see more information.

Why do programs stop working correctly as soon as you leave the Fox?
