No.
While the majority of oil goes into fuel production, there are over 10,000 different products made from petroleum, including plastics, fertilizers, lubricants and solvents, asphalt - you name it. Oil is the single most important ingrediant in modern society, and while I don't believe this fight is over oil, it is vital that access remains open to the Middle East oil markets. The US is, unfortunately, one of the few countries able (and willing) to make sure this happens.
