i have used winfax up to version 10 for a while and it is great but 2 draw backs, it does not play well with xp, i know that you are on 2k but am sure this may be a consideration. second at about 16k faxes it started to act a little funny! our customer had to keep a copy for record purposes and they send about 15k a year. zetafax is good for volume but expensive.
