You are so right Rick, My setup program did not install an OCX file that I used in my program. Program quit when it couldn’t create the object in my OCX. That has nothing to do with the library files.

Grigore:
Windows 2000 and 2003 Server was different for me. They did not like my setup which has worked on Window 98 and XP on many computers. I am using a lot of Visual C++ programming in my projects and that made some problems, but all were solved.

Cheers,
Ali

That way anybody reading the thread gets the benefit of what you learned and how you solved the problem. Chances are somebody else is going to run into the same thing (or make the same mistake, if that's what it was) sooner or later.

However, with Server 2003, when I run the application it quit as soon as it shows up on the screen. I also installed (http://ftp.prolib.de/public/) on the server, and coppied all the DLL (run time libraries) files to the application directory as well, but still no success.
