I try to use ca's insertcmdRefreshcmd,insertcmdRefreshkeyfieldlist, insertcmdRefreshfieldlist to get the new value of an sql server database's autoinc field.for test, i made an sample form as simple as possible,an set a few things in ca's property:

myca.usededatasource = .t.
myca.insertcmdRefreshfieldlist = "Autoid"
myca.insertcmdRefreshcmd = "Select Autoid from mytable where name =?mycaalias.name"

when i insert an new record,and issure an tableupdate(),there got an error:"the connection handle is not valid", but the record has been successed insert into sqlserver table.

so i tied set an valid connected handle to ca's insertcmddatasource, but it still got that error again.

the topic in vfp9's help is too simple, can anybody help?
