While I agree that the UI isn't the greatest, I wouldn't call it torturous. There's a "Downloads" link in the left pane that takes you to a page providing all the downloads, each of which has a title and description. Not sure how much more obvious you can get than that. Of course, you do need to be a member and signed in to access that page, but that's no biggie.
