We don't have a W7 here, but I understand that the tax laws stipulate that income by any means - legal or illegal - is to be reported at income tax time and the the revenue service may not report illegal income sources to police or any other law enforcement agency.

This usually comes up as regards hookers but apparently applies to any/all income.
