As much as I like most everybody on your list, I have to agree with Kevin about singers. Lyrics tend to distract me. By the way, if you are going to use camel notation on Benny GoodMan, shouldn't you also have Louis ArmStrong, and Hoagy CarMicheal, Cyrus ChestNut etc? Oh, and since you are also naming singers, here's one you forgot - Madeleine Peyroux. You reminded my by naming Cyrus Chestnut because he played on her first CD. In fact, her first CD had some real talent backing her up. Cyrus, James Carter, Marcus Printup, to name a few. And where the heck are Carter and Printup on your list anyway? I mean as long as you're listing an entire library and all. ;)
>>Here are my CDs when working...basically anything by:
>>
>>Charlie Parker
>>Pat Metheny
>>Wes Montgomery
>>Lester Young
>>Sonny Stitt
>>John Coltrane
>>Dave Matthews (my one exception to lyrics....if I need to get myself pumped, DMB helps)
>>Lee Morgan
>>Sonny Stitt
>>Miles Davis (Kind of Blue)
>>Cannonball Adderly
>>Woodie Shaw
>>Wayne Shorter
>>Herbie Hancock
>>Yellowjackets
