Sorry, you've lost me. I thought you said it only fetched binary tree nodes
as needed. (I thought prefetch was what happens in Pentium II CPUs).

Don't worry, it will be SET DELETED OFF throughout (except for
occasional housekeeping).

Well this would have been possible under 2.6, although I don't like doing it,
but it's impossible under VFP because I am using private data sessions for a
lot of the screens, so the user can have several open at once.
