Thank you so much for your message. I think with you sample code you wanted to show me how to manipulate the BackColor and ForeColor
of the textbox. But this does not
select the entry. What
I am trying to do is to have the entry in the textbox selected on a mouse click so that as soon as the user starts making an entry, the
entire value changes. By setting the backcolor to look like the
entry is selected does not do the job. Unless I misunderstood your message.
