VB may in fact better respond to the events than VFP - I don't have enough experience with it to tell for sure. In my download, I can show at high data rates, with continuous data, VFP basically gets a chance to process 120 times a second - period. It may have to do with the limitations of ActiveX controls in VFP's OLE container - there are others demonstrateable (sp?). Shrug. As long as we know those limitations and can work around them, good enough.
