I hadn't tried this until you asked, but I just tested it and find Zip Automation Manager does in fact work with a UNC path. For example, you can do

ox.AddFiles( "\\MyComputer\TEMP\myUNCZipFile.zip", "\\MyComputer\TEMP\myFile1.txt")

Please note the name of this class was changed to Zip Automation Manager quite a long time ago. The old name for this class was removed and is no longer used.
