After months of struggling through this silly Johnny-Cakes stuff, the Sopranos finally delivers on the theme that made it great...hard-core mob action and unexpected twists and turns.

I figured Phil would get whacked...but holy cow! They chose PAULIE to do it????? Paulie hasn't been this hardcore since season 1. I won't mind him whining about his mother anymore, because I know that deep inside he's still gangster. Watching Phil plead for his life on the bridge will be well worth the 80 bucks I'll shell out for the DVD edition of this season.

And I KNEW Adrianna was still alive!!! I couldn't believe it when she hired a hit-man to whack Christopher. You go, girl!!!

The thing that really surprised me was Silvio turning out to be a rat. I'd heard the rumors about that, but jeez!!!

And of course, they saved the best for last. A.J. avenges his father's shooting at the Christmas party by slapping Junior in the face. Way to go, A.J. you finally proved you're a man after all. After hearing all those rumors about him getting involved with some unwed mother from another country, this was indeed a pleasant surprise.
