Jim,
>I am an old veteran of MM for VFP, but I am new to .NET. I've created a little application for learning. It's a simple address book with two business objects: address and names. Im using mmMaintenanceForm. So far so good. I can run the application and retrieve data. I can delete rows as well as save the names information (names bizobj is the primary.) The problem is I can't save any changes to the address data, and I can't seem to add a new record. I've registered address object as a child of names, and I've coded all the logic to respond to new and save events in the parent, but to no avail. Is there something I'm missing?
Make sure you set the appropriate properties on the child business object:
AutoDeleteOnParentDeleted
AutoNewOnParentAdded
AutoSaveOnParentSaved
Check out the MM .NET Dev Guide topic "Establishing Business Object Relationships" for details.
