I have programs that have run successfully for many months on a Windows XP machine. We have recently switched to a Windows server to use Autosys Job scheduler. Four jobs have "hung" with one job hanging more regularly than the others. I have put in a trace function in the one job and it appears to be hanging on an SQL insert statment going through ODBC.

I am using Oracle Client 9.2 and Oracle driver 9.0.2 Under Windows XP, it was using Oracle Client 8.x

I can cause the failure and all I need to do when it hangs is to kill the job and restart it.

I am thinking about upgrading to VPF 9 but am not sure it will help.
