As I indicated in another thread, I am having some problems with an ASP.NET application updating tables in a local folder. This is on an XP Pro PC. I noticed that when I look at the Properties of folders (local folders) on the XP machine it looks differently than on Win 2000. On Win 2000 there is a Security tab that shows that Everyone has Full access to the folder. On Win XP there is not Security tab. The Sharing tab however says that to "share this folder with other user of this computer only, drag it to the Shared Document folder.". Does it mean that I have to drag each and every folder on my local PC to the Shared Document folder in order to use it with ASP.NET app? Seem like a nuisance, unless I am not reading it correctly.

Please let me know what (if anything) I am missing.

Thank you.
