I used #2 ( I think I tried that earlier) but nope.
I finally gave up and recreated the grid from scratch
which solved the problem. I am thankful for the grid,
but I (and other develoeprs) have to recreate them frequently
and it is becoming tiresome. I sure liked the old BROWSE
command.
