Why would you have users view WSDL or XSD files in the first place?

The issue is one of mapping a mime type. WSDL is mapped by ASP.NET I believe and XSD may be on the forbidden list. Check your Extension Mappings in the virtual or root Web site of the IIS Service manager to see what they are pointing to...
