Usually I used a Memo field to save image files in a table. Now there is a new data type, Blob, that I can use to save the image file, even with the same code as the memo:

APPEND MEMO MyBlobField FROM Test.JPG OVERWRITE

Could somebody explain me what the advantages would be of using a blob field instead of a memo field?
