There is a misunderstanding here.
-Setfocus already doesn't work in VFP5 (from valid,when) and won't in 6.0 too. It was working (am I right?) in VFP3 and it was a bug (bug because it shouldn't "setfocus" while valid is evaluating).
-It worths to upgrade VFP3->VFP5 and VFP5 -> VFP6. Only I wanted to say, you waited long to do that, so if have financial problems like me, you could wait some more and bypass VFP5 (truly all versions of Fox, including revisions, worth it for me).
