Paul, as far as I remember, PNG images won't look good on Windows 98 and some Windows 2000 (depending on the configuration). So if you plan to deploy on these platforms do a test before.

>Thanks for the tip. Now that I have my proper 24-bit+alpha PNG icons to play with, it appears VFP8 (SP1) handles the transparency with no problem, both on command button and in an image control placed on the form with a background image. So I guess there's no problem here <g>
