The Mere Mortals .NET Framework
Jason,
It turns out that my primary key values are not being fetched. I have two primary keys: iNames_id and iAddress_id. Both are identity columns. I'm running SQL Server 2000, if that makes a difference. And I do have the parent set to retrieve the auto increment value in abizobj.

I'd also check to be sure that you have the parent set to retrieve the auto increment value. I thought I saw that in your ABusinessObject code you posted, but it never hurts to double-check.

It was my understanding that setting this field to the correct value would automatically get the parent id and populate the dataview field with the correct value. Am I missing something?
