Hi all,

We have a c/s VFP application that runs smartly on LAN. Data connection runs smartly on LANs via c/s ODBC.

But ODBC is quite chatty... When you look at logs, you find tremendous of data exchanged between clients and server.

We could move the exchange layer to ADO as the applications are performed through cursoradapters. Would that make an difference in terms of "chattiness"?

Any feedback on ADO vs ODBC welcome:)

François
