1996... I finally got connected to The Web for the first time. I think it was on Netscape3, on a 386SX (anyone remember those?). I knew about just one search engine then, Altavista. And what do I search for? Jethro Tull. And the first link has a two-sentence blurb, with
"Ostensibly motionless, the hare was trembling with excitement"
The feeling is still impossible to describe.
Just for kicks, I googled the quote. 12200 hits.
