Ok, I got it, but here, I am having issues converting the following file types to TIFF compression of 4 and colordepth of 1

BMP (16 color) <- saved out of MS paint this way
BMP (256 color) <- saved out of MS Paint this way
BMP (24 bit) <- Saved out of MS Paint this way.
GIF <- saved out of MS Paint this way
JPEG <- saved out of MS Paint this way

I am converting signatures that should be in a Monochrome BMP format, but I can't assume it.


My Guess is that if the image is a color image, that I won't be able to convert it to a Tif 4
