With 3rd party products I heard Gplib and netlib does it. I could send you my own ASM routines + prg to do it but unfortunately VFP doesn't support loading and calling of ASM anymore. If you gonna use it with FP 2.x or have a chance to compile to FLL with C, I can still send them. Let me know. A quirky way is to use a FP 2.x exe doing it or calling Novell's own slist, userlist etc but of course they show up a DOS window. BTW for user ID's if you mean to keep always, they change with every login (but physical netcard addresses are unique and doesn't change unless done manually in bootconf - still unique).
