>Does anybody know if it is possible to set up IIS authentication so that only people that have logged onto a certain domain can have access to a site? I am developing and Intranet site and I don't want users to have to log in again to access the site. I am going to have certain areas of the site accessible to certain users on our domain. So far I can't seem to find a way to make this happen without a user having to enter their password. If they are logged into their workstation and on our domain, then I want them to have access to the site.

Hi Mike,

So long as the web server is on the domain, you should be able to use the Active Directory for the domain to control user access. An active directory user that has authenticated on the domain would not be asked for their credentials again, and you can configure the virtual directory in IIS use a select list of active directory users, or more preferably, an active directory group created specifically for your app.
