I've got an application that uses the (somewhat dated <g>) PHDBase full text indexing library. I've placed the FLL and it's supporting files in the VFP8 program directory. In the VFP8 command window I can type

SET LIBRARY TO SYS(2004)+'phdbase5.fll' ADDITIVE

and it works fine, but when I put this line of code in the compiled program and run it, I get an "API library not found" error. If I lose the SYS(2004) and put the FLL and it's files in the same directory as my VFP application EXE, the compiled program does not throw the error.

Confused...
