I don't know but I think so. I haven't tried mapping a folder to an FTP site and accessing as a virtual drive.
Webdrive has a 30 day eval. I would encourage you to get it a try. I made my purchase several hours after loading the eval :)
There's also a 'free' version of webdrive that is based on an older version of webdrive. It is distributed by Novell. You can search the archives on novell and webdrive and find a link. Note: I don't think Novell's version of webdrive has support for secure FTP (SFTP or FTP/S) or FrontPage server extensions like newer versions of webdrive do.
I use webdrive so much that I've been happy to pay the $49 each time I need to use it at a client site. Support has been great (due to operator problems on my part - not the software) and I enjoy the ability to transparently work with files when my clients are using SFTP or FTP/S.

>>Webdrive will map your FTP, SFTP, FPT/S (all different beasts) to a standard Windows drive letter. Once you have this drive letter you can use regular VFP file and directory commands to check for a file, copy it, delete it, etc.
