Lets see, I was born in 1963, and since you were adding value since then, you must have already been working, assuming your MBA was earned after high school and a BS degree, that would put you at 26 Yrs Old +30 Years working would make you 56 in 1963 which would make you 99 years old, no worries for you then.

A skilled programmer with an MBA and 30 years experience should easily make 6 figures, plus you can collect social security. I think an MBA would be able to understand supply and demand, macro economics, etc.

I'm just saying the salary of any job is determined in the market, If it isn't the salary your looking for you need to change vocation. As a programmer working for someone else I understand I will probally not earn several million dollars a year, If I needed to earn that much, I would look into being a CEO or Politician.
