Walter,

Can you list a few other things to praise?

Where to start? ;-) OK, how about Bush's newly designated marine reserve that is the largest on the planet? Not bad for a nation/ President typically accused of environmental vandalism. ;-) And that's how it goes... a lot of the "truth" out there is biased slogan, and you know how much I enjoy slogans. ;-) Sure some people will ask "why focus on the fish when there are people dying in Iraq", but marine reserves are part of an overall state of mind that gives great cause for hope IMHO.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
