I have a file with year, policy number,est_prem. Another file contains claims and has year, policy number and claim_amt fields. I want to sum and count the est_prem and claim by various levels of est premium for a particular year as follows:
est prem level Est. Prem Claims
                      # $ # $
0-5,000
5,001-10,000
10,001 - 20,000
etc
etc
I have done this in the past with several sql statements and a scan but I am looking for a better way.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Gaylen
