For sure - if not connected on a weak-breasted laptop AV and firewall are the first to go.

I am not sure this will give you valid statistics, as perhaps the memory to be consumed is calculated depending on available / free ram. At least in the vfp-apps I develop for a great range of HW sys(3050,) has a large machine dependant twist. Don't you think this could be done by AV software, where the HW range is probably even greater by a large margin ?
