I would change this to say, "for most VFP developers". Many other general purpose languages will have the same amount of work as .Net. VFP and other data aware languages have a foot up in the DB area.

Kevin McNeish has said that what's easy in VFP is difficult in .Net and what's difficult in VFP is easy in .Net.
