Two possibilities I can think of:
1. Something wrong with something both of your computers have in common - router, ADSL or cable modem etc. You might try rebooting these devices.
2. Blocking specific URLs is classic virus/malware behaviour. Check your HOSTS file(s) on both computers for unauthorized entries. If they seem OK, try to go to
http://www.symantec.com - most malware that blocks sites will block that one. If it is blocked, assume you're infested, disconnect from the Internet and "debug" appropriately.
