I tried to do the same thing as well. I wanted each screen to be similar ebnough to be usable without training on each one, but stand out in the user's mind as being for certain data only. I grabbed some images from my Corel pictures clips CD and put them as the form background - seems to work ok. The QC guy likes having the atomic diagram of chlorine on the chlorine monitoring data entry form anyway.
