I've set up a DSN and done a SQL query from VFP to a remote SQL Server "view" before, but never had to set up an "inbound" request to a VFP table. I'd imagine I need to open up port 1433 on the firewall among other things?

Do you really have to have a 3rd party product to do this? Can't you just create a remote view with ODBC for this?
