Because its maintenance in regards to the way I do it is much faster. This is in regards to my own applications. As for client's application, it is their choice. In one of the application we are about to put in production, the switch to SQL Server will see the light of day soon. It is just a question of licence where VFP has a great advantage over SQL Server.
