Hi Evan
>Thanks for the response Gary. Are you able to boil it down to a number? Like say, twice as fast plain .NET for a Winforms app?
Well, if you look at creating typed datasets, manually binding controls, creating lists and lookup grids by hand, coding the many and varied widgets that come out of the box with SF, coding all of the "smart methods" that come the SF business objects, I guess I would have to say that you must be at least twice as fast using SF, and probably a lot more.
Are you considering SF? - if you are, feel free to contact me privately and I will gladly share my experiences with you.
Best
