The "millions of businesses" don't seem to be hiring VFP developers at the moment ;)Nor do they advertise on the internet for somebody to paint the factory or install a new PBX. ;-) They approach local shops that join local business associations, sponsor school events, etc etc. IMHO there is a huge opportunity to "make it happen" rather than just trawling job lists. I agree it isn't as obvious in the UK, but as you know there is a HUGE goodwill towards local business that can be tapped without seeming impolite. ;-)
