You use the QuickBook example quite a bit.

Because it takes only one counter-example to disprove a claim. ;-)

As for your big business "gig" - are you saying you used to do those mega-integrations with VFP? ;-)

Irrespective of "local storage", VFP is unable to talk to/drive these kinds of applications. They are all geared up to use .NET as the "glue".

Then of course you should use dotNET. Just as you should put diesel in a diesel car. That's not an argument against putting petrol in a petrol car, though. ;-)
