Ever experience this?

I've got an old FP2.6 Windows app I am supporting. Each day of this week certain index TAGs are going corrupt. The app and data are on a file server. I find indexes are corrupt subsequent to a server backup. I know our visiting network admin made some changes to the backup process this past weekend. Since then, I can count on some index corruption following the backup.
