>Add a guid field into your VFP table. use guid field as key field when you access it from VB. So you can learn autoinc field after a requery. If you don't want to add a new field your table, use any comment field for guid (I suppose there is any comment field), after learn autoinc value you can replace comment field back.

This one has been resolved since a while now. It is just that someone proposed the Guid approach yesterday so it has generated additional interest in the thread.
