Hmmm...I can go way above 16,384 on mine...I wonder if it's resource (RAM) driven? But I *still* say it's a problem that has to be addressed on the Fox end (Geno resolved it copying to delimited and importing that). Unless VFP is dynamically checking maxrows in Excel (and I don't think it is) then why should it impose *any* restriction? Let Excel impose it when the user attempts to open the file....
